Duck Creek Configuration Engineer - Remote
Location: Fully Remote (within the US) with occasional travel (approximately once per quarter)
Duration: 1-year contract with high possibility of extension (up to 2 years)
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duck Creek Configuration Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing Duck Creek DMS to meet the specific needs of our business. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal utilization of the platform and provide expert guidance on best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and customize Duck Creek DMS modules (e.g., Policy, Billing, Claims) to meet specific business requirements.
- Provide expert consultation to stakeholders on best practices for utilizing Duck Creek DMS features.
- Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and document system configurations, including technical diagrams and dependencies.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with Duck Creek support.
- Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities.
- Provide support for Duck Creek upgrades and migrations.
- Stay current on the latest Duck Creek releases and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise-scale Duck Creek DMS configurations.
- Proven experience providing consultation to stakeholders on best utilization of Duck Creek DMS customizations.
- Proficiency in vendor management.
- Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation, including system diagrams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional experience with Duck Creek DMS integrations.
- Proficiency with object-oriented Java development.
- Experience supporting Duck Creek Upgrades.
